
Steve Wolf, Qualitative Research Director
Steve Wolf is a seasoned market researcher and marketing consultant who helps clients better understand their industry environment, competition and customer needs by translating research findings into improved business strategy. Across 20+ years in the field he has led over 300 research and consulting assignments across industries including technology, education, financial services, healthcare, hospitality, retail and non-profit.
His core areas of expertise include customer needs and behavior, market opportunity, competitive analysis, brand positioning, concept testing, pricing, marketing and sales channels, and customer experience improvement. A veteran research practitioner, Steve has moderated over 1,500 interviews and focus groups, developed and analyzed dozens of surveys, and conducted scores of industry and competitive assessments.
Steve earned a B.A. in Economics and Communication with honors from the University of Michigan, and an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina (Kenan-Flagler Business School) as a Jenrette Fellow. He lives in Bethesda, MD with his wife and two children. When not working, he enjoys tennis, indie rock and world travel.
